A Message from the Instructor

Hello! I am Hisashi! I am a Japanese language teacher. Nice to meet you!
I have been a Japanese teacher for five years and am very happy to see many students’ smile in my lessons.

I don’t want you to be afraid of failure. I don’t care how many mistakes you make in my class.
I don’t care how many times you hear the same thing. Human beings are forgetful creatures. I teach as many times as I can until you understand. Don’t feel bad about that!

I want to make my classes fun. To do that, I show them various teaching materials and Youtube videos. Even if students are tired, I want to make them feel like they want to see me, a funny old Japanese man.
I want to make the class fun, but at the same time, I want the students to be able to feel their own progress.

★ This instructor has completed Japanese language teacher training course (more than 420 hours) / passed the above level of the EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency, conducted by the Eiken Foundation of Japan.

About the Lesson

This is a private lesson for those who already have basic Japanese language skills, and is designed to help them figure out how to improve their Japanese language skills more.

The teacher will listen to students’ requests (want to pass the JLPT N1 or N2, want to learn more Japanese and enjoy Japan, want to do more work in the company/at meetings/parties, etc.) and create a curriculum according to what they need.

The main activity in a lesson is reading. The instructor will prepare reading materials that will give you an insight into Japanese culture.
As reading the materials, students are expected to check the expressions that they do not know and learn accordingly.
Sometimes, a quiz will be given to check the progress.
