A Message from the Instructor

Hello, my name is Višnja. I am a Japanese and English teacher. I was born in Serbia, so I also teach Serbian language from time to time. I am located in the city of Cochabamba.
My hobbies are reading and drawing funny things like monsters and animals. I love to write poetry. I have performed on a radio program as well as on poetry shows. I do like cats.

During the previous summer, I have decided to move to Bolivia and to work as a freelance teacher here. It has been some months that I have been in this country.
My class is communication oriented, from the experience of teaching Japanese to 12 to 65 year-old learners in Belgrade for 25 years.

I have attended training courses for teachers in Kita Urawa in Japan twice, and also had taught in the most distinguished grammar school in Serbia for two years. 

About the Lesson

This class is for everybody who wants to learn Japanese from basic level, explained in English.

There will be a 10 minute break between two 40 minutes long parts of the class.

Let’s learn how to write, talk and read, step by step.
We will start from katakana and hiragana, the basic writing systems, and learn kanji, and also how to memorize them easier using drawings and little stories.

You will be able to understand grammar and vocabulary, and to practice reading and writing short texts based on that.

★ Lessons are in groups of four, but if there is only one person booked, the lesson will be a private lesson.

–> Students are expected to download the textbook from the second session.

★ Other raw materials (restaurant menus, hours of operation, etc.)
